This course introduces doctoral students to the foundations of educational research. Emphasis is placed on epistemology, positionality, and the philosophical bases that guide inquiry. Students develop critical perspectives on how knowledge is constructed, examine foundational debates in the field, and begin to articulate their own stance as emerging researchers.
