This rotating studio course allows advanced undergraduate students to explore specialized topics in biomedical visualization and scientific communication. Topics vary by semester and may include areas such as surgical animation, interactive and immersive media, legal-medical graphics, molecular and cellular illustration, public health visualization, and extended reality (XR) applications. Emphasis is placed on scientific accuracy, visual problem-solving, and effective communication for professional audiences. The course may include guest speakers, interdisciplinary collaboration, or project-based assignments. Repeatable for credit with different topics.
