Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition for Teaching Languages

Catalog description

This course examines basic concepts of linguistic theory, and bilingual, first, and second language acquisition paradigms and research. Content will focus on components of the language systems as applied to P12 student literacy development. Students will apply course concepts to their language and literacy teaching in their future educational contexts.
