Catalog description
This laboratory course engages students in the scientific investigation of the living world using fundamental concepts of biology. Topics include basic biological chemistry, cell physiology, homeostasis, the genetics of evolution, and the human impact on ecosystems. The goal of this course is to develop scientific reasoning and literacy skills to support informed engagement with life sciences. Note: This course does not count toward credit for biology majors.
