Catalog description

This elective course will review the cellular and molecular aspects of immune responses to pathogens to keep us safe. The course is designed to improve students’ understanding of the clinical aspects of the infection, diagnosis, host immune responses, and infection prevention through vaccination, where available. Overall goal is to better understand the pathophysiology and immunology of microbial infections with a focus on the clinical aspects of COVID-19, including long COVID. Cr. Hr: 3
