provide pharmacists, student pharmacists, and the profession with resources, information, and guidance regarding addiction education. Attendance at the Institute is intended to redefine views on the disease of addiction and serve as a catalyst to help increase awareness of health and social problems related to alcoholism and other drug dependencies. Additional assignments and meeting increase awareness of the health and social problems of alcoholism and other drug dependencies in the profession of pharmacy. Students are introduced to the 12-step principles of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), and Alanon programs. Cr. Hr.: 4
