This course will continue to build on the foundations from previous courses. This course dives deep into cardiac physiology, pathophysiology, and practical cardiothoracic surgery implications and considerations. As each of you has the opportunity to participate in specialty cases, you will need the knowledge you obtain here and, in your readings, to equip and orient you to begin the learning process for these case types in the real world utilizing the full scope of practice. 2 credits didactic
