This block introduces health concepts and related pathophysiology. Concepts include cellular regulation, clotting, cognition, elimination, glucose and hormonal regulation, immunity, infection, inflammation, oxygen/gas exchange, perfusion, thermoregulation, and tissue integrity. Didactic 6 credits (90 contact hours).
