The Advanced Clinical Practice 2B (ACP 2B) is a continuation of ACP 2A. MDS 7210 Neurosciences Selective (2 credit hours) The Neurosciences Selective is a two-week required clinical rotation that introduces medical to general or subspeciality neurology. MDS 7220 Emergency and Critical Care Selective (4 credit hours) The Emergency and Critical Care Selective is a two-week required rotation that introduces medical students to urgent care, emergency care, or critical care. MDS 7300– MDS 7399 Subinternship (4 credit hours) The subinternship can be internal medicine, general surgery, or pediatrics and requires students to be rotating on a resident team as an acting intern. MDE 7400 – 7499 Electives (2 or 4 credit hours; 34 credits required) Electives can be taken in a variety of medical specialties or subspecialties, depending on student interest and residency plans.
