Section information text: For non-native speakers of English. Focuses on the basic patterns and conventions of U.S. academic prose. Familiarizes students with essential essay structures with particular emphasis on identifying, developing, and supporting a thesis. Deepens knowledge of grammar and academic vocabulary. Introduces the topic of academic integrity and appropriate use of outside source material.
