Section information text: Topics in this course include the fundamentals of thermodynamics and kinetics. The fundamentals of chemical equilibrium are introduced. Definitions of acid and bases are discussed utilizing the Bronsted-Lowry and Lewis models. Nuclear chemistry is also included.
