Section information text: Physical properties of fluids, fluid statics, laminar and turbulent flow.Design of pipe networks and pumps. Fluid flow as momentum transport. Flow through porous media. Non-Newtonian fluid flow. Flow past objects and boundary layer concept. Emphasis is placed on general methods of analysis applicable to any fluid.
