Catalog description

This course provides an overview of connective tissue injury including degenerative processes, healing, and rehabilitation implications. Understanding of the relationships among connective tissues such as bone, ligaments, cartilage, capsule, tendon and mus cle on a micro and macro level will be emphasized. Sports injuries, issues of aging, and rehabilitation principles in special populations will also be included. These principles will be applied to treatment procedure choices in rehabilitation.
