Catalog description

This course is the seventh in a series designed to integrate the principles of professionalism, ethics, profession-specific issues, and the business of medicine, with the practice of medicine. The focus of this final course in the series is on the professi onal expectations and responsibilities facing new physician assistant graduates. Students continue to cultivate the skills necessary for future career development and growth. Topics include curriculum vitae/resume development, job searching, interviewing, employment contracts, credentialing, privileging, mentoring, leadership development, and sustaining the PA profession.
