This course is the sixth in a series designed to integrate the principles of professionalism, ethics, profession -specific issues, and the business of medicine, with the practice of medicine. This particular course covers the organizational and economic ele ments of systems-based practice. This course also focuses on cost -effective and efficient health care, case management, risk management, error prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement.
