Catalog description
This course provides the students with an understanding of major orthopedic, neurological, neuordegenerative, and physical diseases, injuries, and disorders that may impact adult occupational performance. The course reviews diagnostic and general intervention features from the lens of a medical model, a holistic perspective, and the social determinants of health. The students will gain emerging professional reasoning for analyzing the impact of physical and neurological conditions on performance skills, occupation engagement, and community participation.
