Catalog description

In this course, the student will develop and propose a master's level thesis research project in their specific area of study. Students will be mentored by faculty to develop and propose a project that can be accomplished in the subsequent course (HS 688B). Ideally, this course concludes with an oral defense of the written thesis proposal. Throughout this course, the instructor will help students overcome challenges and obstacles and provide strategies for accountability, time management, and dealing with f actors that might influence thesis progress. Graded pass/fail. (prereq: HS 506)
