Catalog description

This advanced course is designed for experienced badminton players seeking to elevate their technical, tactical, and competitive skills. While badminton is often seen as a casual or recreational sport, at the advanced level it is an intense, fast-paced game that challenges both the mind and body. Students will refine their stroke technique, footwork, and court positioning while learning advanced strategies for singles and doubles play. Emphasis will be placed on competitive match play, shot selection, game strategy, and mental focus under pressure. This physically and mentally demanding course enhances agility, endurance, and muscle tone, while also serving as an effective outlet for stress reduction. Students will gain the skills and confidence to compete in a variety of settings, from intramural tournaments to higher-level competition. Fee: A course fee applied via SFS bill.
