Pickleball: Advanced/Competitive

Catalog description
This advanced/competitive course is designed for experienced pickleball players seeking to refine their skills, enhance strategy, and compete at a higher level. Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, but at the advanced level it becomes a fast-paced, highly strategic, and physically demanding game. Students will focus on advanced techniques, including spin serves, dinks, third-shot drops, volleys, and aggressive net play, as well as advanced shot placement, anticipation, and court positioning. Emphasis will also be placed on doubles strategy, communication, and match play under competitive conditions. This course challenges players physically, mentally, and socially, providing opportunities for skill development, fitness, and competitive play. Fee: A course fee applied via SFS bill.
