Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast, a trip leader, or just want to be better prepared to prevent and deal with accidents and emergencies in the wilderness, Wilderness First Aid is a must-have. This course uses both lecture and hands-on practice to provide a solid foundation in the basics of backcountry medical care. Areas of focus include response and assessment, musculoskeletal injuries, environmental emergencies, survival skills, soft tissue injuries, and medical emergencies.
