Catalog description
This course provides students with structured, progressive group weight training sessions designed to improve muscular strength, endurance, and overall fitness. Emphasis is placed on correct lifting technique, safety, and the use of free weights in a group setting. Training sessions focus on developing proficiency in fundamental movement patterns, including squat, hinge, push, pull, core/trunk stability, carries, and rotational/anti-rotational movements. Students will also be introduced to basic locomotion and explosive exercises to support overall athleticism. Workouts are designed using progressive overload and varied resistance methods to promote balanced muscular development and long-term training success. This class is a comprehensive strength training program. Note: The previous title of this course was “120 Day Challenge”. ** Fee: A course fee applied via SFS bill.
