Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the many different binding options ranging from saddle-stitched pamphlets to hardcover books, as well as the wide range of materials available. Contemporary procedures of finishing on demand publications are part of this course. Students are encouraged to bring with them some personal projects for binding. No prerequisites are required; however, good manual dexterity is desired. **Fee: A materials fee is required for this course**
