Catalog description

This course will provide an in-depth study of an animation artist, animated genre, or other specific topics that has had a major impact on the animated film art form. Films will be viewed and discussed in the context of the specific times and places in which they were made. Emphasis will also be placed on determining the unique characteristics of the animation medium and how those characteristics are used as a means of interpretation and expression.
