This course provides PA students with a clinically focused foundation in microbiology, immunology and the human microbiome and the associated clinical relevance to infectious disease and immune system function, and the influence of the microbiome in humans. Topics include microbial pathogens, immune responses, vaccination, and the microbiome’s role in health and disease.
