Ophthalmic Imaging II

Catalog description

This course will integrate advanced ophthalmic imaging techniques with disease identification and proper patient management required in contemporary ophthalmic clinical environments. Diagnostic evaluation of ocular anatomy and physiology utilizing special cameras/equipment is presented. Ophthalmological disease processes and recognition will also be emphasized. Advanced ophthalmological imaging modalities will be explored, including OCT-A, slit lamp biomicrography and fundus autofluorescence. **Note: A clinical component is required of students enrolled in this course**
