Advanced Diving and Underwater Imaging

Catalog description

Students will develop underwater research skills, photo-documentation skills, underwater lighting techniques, camera positioning, working with a model, and working as a member of an interdisciplinary team. This course prepares students to complete a marine photographic project in an underwater environment. Students will as part of this course complete the PADI Advanced Diving Course and the Enriched Air Specialty Course. The project will take place in the Caribbean as part of a multidisciplinary experience. The final project will be a research paper and multimedia presentation. There is an additional cost for the study abroad class.
