Advanced Research in Philosophy

Catalog description

This individualized course is designed to give students first-hand experience working on a research project under the guidance of a sponsoring faculty member. Students in this course will pursue research and develop relevant research skills under the direction of a Philosophy faculty member. Prior to enrollment in this course students must submit a research proposal to their faculty sponsor, who will forward it to the Philosophy Department for approval. The proposal should specify the topic and goal of the research project and a venue for public dissemination.
