Advanced Analog

Catalog description

Students will engage with advanced analog photographic and alternative processes through demonstrations, group assignments, and personal projects. As students become familiar with these processes, they will create new work exploring various processes and techniques still relevant to photography today. Techniques explored include advanced black and white (toning, bleaching, reduction), gelatin emulsions, non-toxic plant-based processes, collodion chloride processes, and more.
