The Constructed Image

This course will introduce students to the concept and practice of constructed imagery within the broader context of contemporary photography. Various types of image-making will be explored from interventions in the world, to studio constructions and staging as methods of creating photographs. Participants will be introduced to the history of constructed imagery and the ways in which it has shifted the current landscape of contemporary photography.
