Catalog description

Changing technology continues to influences how photographers capture, modify, distribute, and consume images. This course will emphasize the development of artistic voice in the context of this evolving climate. By further mastering craft, students will gain experience in using technology to expand what is possible in the photographic image, both technically and creatively. Course topics will include photographic creativity, image capture, optimization, construction, manipulation, and distribution. Proficiency in new technologies will push boundaries of image making, augment a visual vocabulary, and expand creative expression.
