Catalog description

This is an introductory algebra-based physics course focusing on mechanics. It is designed to develop and enhance knowledge and skills necessary for success in college-level physics courses. Topics covered will include uncertainty, propagation of error, significant figures, unit conversion, translational motion in one and two dimensions, circular motion, kinematics and dynamics (both translational and angular), torque, and angular motion. This course includes in-class mechanics laboratories.
