Catalog description

The first of a two-course sequence of accelerated courses for students who are interested in acquiring the skills necessary for an introductory-level calculus course. The topics include a review of the fundamentals of algebra and solving linear equations and inequalities in both 1- and 2-variables algebraically and graphically. Exponents, polynomial/quadratic functions and their graphs are also studied. Students cannot earn credit for both NMTH-245 and NMTH-180 .
