Catalog description
This course offers students an immersive opportunity to explore the unique historical, geographical, economic, social, and political landscape that has shaped Croatia and its Deaf community in the Balkan region. In addition to learning survival Croatian Sign Language, students will engage in hands-on experiences during a May/June trip to Croatia. Throughout this trip, they will visit cultural and historical sites while delving into the social, political, and legal aspects affecting the Deaf community.
