This interactive course delves into the science of learning through a creative lens, while exploring the brain’s development, structures, and functions as well as attention and memory. Students will investigate evidence-based strategies in the classroom and from required readings to enhance learning and foster creative problem-solving. Training in the creative problem-solving process will equip students to contribute new ideas and approaches in their careers. Through interactive, intrapersonal and interpersonal communication activities and guided application of creative tools, students will develop practical skills to optimize their learning processes. Throughout the semester, students will practice applying learning strategies with an emphasis on transferable skills. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and techniques to effectively apply these strategies in academic and professional settings.
