Catalog description
This course will provide students with the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship and small business operations. Students will be given the opportunity to learn key principles and practices necessary to succeed in the launch and management of a small business. Topics include entrepreneurial personality, opportunity recognition, customer discovery, business strategy development, financing a small business, legal considerations, financial management, human resource management, effective leadership, marketing strategies, and customer service excellence.
