Principles of Toxicology

Catalog description

This course introduces fundamental concepts of environmental toxicology, including toxicokinetics, toxicodynamics, biotransformation, modifiers of toxicity, genetic toxicology, and environmental epidemiology. Introductory material will be presented within each lecture complemented by a class discussion of a scientific paper relevant to each lecture block.
