Catalog description

An applied course in the fundamentals and applications of autonomous robots. Emphasis is placed on the use of microcontrollers to construct mobile robots. Topics include microcontroller programming, robot fundamentals, DC servo and stepper motors, encoders, sensors, programming, gripper design, and safety. A major emphasis is placed in a design project involving the design, build, and test of a mobile robot for an application.
