Fluid Mechanics II

Catalog description

A second course in fluid mechanics. Develop an understanding of fundamental concepts in fluid mechanics including Navier-Stokes equations and its analytical solutions, boundary layer theory, potential flow and compressible flow. Learn basic concepts of computational fluid dynamics. Emphasis is on mathematical formulation, problem solving, and engineering applications as well as on developing physical insights into fluid flow.
