This non-credit bearing optional course helps to prepare students for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. Material in the mechanical engineering discipline is emphasized. Much of the class time is devoted to problem solving, and students have ample practice in working through practical problems in mechanical engineering as they prepare for the FE examination. The FE exam is the first step in the process leading to the Professional Engineers (PE) license.
