Topics in Artisanal Materials and Processes

Catalog description

An introduction into selected artisanal processes and techniques used in the creation of utilitarian items and/or artwork. Topics will be determined by faculty teaching the course, and may include titles such as: Lighting Design with Wood and Glass, Ceramic Slip-Casting for Production, Blade Design and Fabrication, etc. A subtopic course description will be developed for each new topic. This shell course can be repeated, but the topics themselves cannot.
