Catalog description

Introductory application programming with a network-centric nature will be explored. Topics covered include: C++ syntax, pointers, file handling, memory management, and object-oriented programming. Emphasis is on the development of problem-solving skills. Moderately sized programming assignments are required. Prior programming experience (two-course objected-oriented) is required. Students should have a two-course object-oriented programming sequence or equivalent such as ISTE-120 and ISTE-121 to be successful in this course.
