Catalog description

This accelerated, hands-on course introduces students to event-driven programming and graphical user interface (GUI) design using the Qt framework and Qt Creator IDE. Building on prior C++ programming experience, students will explore Qt’s custom signals and slots, design responsive, professional-grade GUI applications, and integrate widgets, layout managers, and event callbacks. Emphasis is placed on practical development skills through short, focused projects that demonstrate principles such as event loops, custom signal-slot architecture, custom widget design, file I/O, and final deployment packaging.
