Catalog description

This course utilizes subjects found in the natural world as resources for applied and fine art applications. Working from live and preserved subjects, students will accurately depict subject matter such as animals and plants, through isolating and simplifying the natural surroundings to emphasize zoological and botanical forms. Throughout this course, students will develop the skills needed to complete a research paper comparing the appearances of selected plant and animal species, incorporating visual references they have created. **Fee: A course fee applied via student account**
