Concept and Story-Inspired Art

Catalog description

Students create images that visually represent new narratives or scenarios derived from existing games, animation, films, and/or themed concepts. They develop their individual methods for visualizing materials, props, wardrobes, and other objects that match their chosen theme. Initially, the class focuses on representing ideas through painting and sketching. The latter portion of the course translates these studies into digital 2D and/or 3D assets according to their intended use.
