Multiplatform Interactive Video

Catalog description

Interactive video is a crucial element of modern websites (retail, information, and entertainment), apps (social media and training), and installations (corporate, educational, and artistic). Students working with interactive video require an understanding of its aesthetic qualities, limitations, forms of expression, and how all of it may be implemented within the context of user experience (UI/UX) on a variety of platforms. This course will focus on video production, interactivity, and visual narrative. Emphasis will be placed on how to design and implement quality work optimized for responsive interaction with a target audience and platform-appropriate delivery.
