Catalog description

This course presents an introduction to the fundamentals of computing through problem solving, abstraction, and algorithmic design within the domain of game design and development. This course is designed for students with previous experience in programming and will reinforce the concepts of problem decomposition, implementation of a program in a high-level programming language, and testing/debugging of their designs. Students will be introduced to the basic elements of game software development, design of game applications, and applying basic programming knowledge to the game domain.
