Catalog description

Highly trained clinical and administrative professionals drive the nature of work in health care. The purpose of this course is to provide students the opportunity to study leadership & management theory as it is applied in health care organizations. Leadership & management theories and applications geared toward students aspiring to work in health service organizations will be emphasized. Students will learn to apply leadership & management theories via discussions, writing assignments, personal reflections, case studies and the like.
