Catalog description

This course will provide students an advanced study of typography as it relates to graphic design, including historical and contemporary contexts. Terminology and advanced applications of typography, complex grid systems, experimental typographic methods, and material studies will be explored. The development of a personal creative approach to form and communication will be emphasized.
