Catalog description

The course introduces legal frameworks, challenges, and emerging regulatory landscapes associated with the development and deployment of AI technologies. The course will begin with an introduction to foundational legal concepts and will cover a broad range of legal issues related to AI system use and design. Specific topics include intellectual property law, product liability, bias and discrimination in AI systems, data security and privacy, and international efforts around regulating AI.
