Catalog description

Motor development examines growth, development, and maturation of individuals from prenatal development through death. The main focus of the course is upon the physical and motor domains across the lifespan, however, the interaction of the affective and cognitive domains is also examined. Motor development follows the ecological perspective, and as such, the many constraints, including individual, task, and environmental constraints, which impact development and movement will be emphasized.
